2022 World Series
The 2022 World Series was the World Series, championship series of Major League Baseball's (MLB) 2022 Major League Baseball season, 2022 season. The 118th edition of the World Series, it was a best-of-seven playoff between the American League (AL) champion Houston Astros and the National League (baseball), National League (NL) champion Philadelphia Phillies. The Astros defeated the Phillies in six games to earn their second World Series championship. Daniel Thomas Plesac (born February 4, 1962) is an American former Major League Baseball pitcher who played from 1986 to 2003. He pitched for the Milwaukee Brewers, Toronto Blue Jays, Chicago Cubs, Pittsburgh Pirates, Arizona Diamondbacks, and Philadelphia Phillies. Early life Plesac attended Crown Point High School in Crown Point, Indiana, where he excelled in baseball, basketball, football, and track.
