2022 Oklahoma Sooners Women's Gymnastics Team
The 2022 Oklahoma Sooners women's gymnastics team represented the University of Oklahoma during the 2021 NCAA Division I women's gymnastics. The Sooners were led by K.J. Kindler in her sixteenth season, and played their home meets at Lloyd Noble Center in Norman, Oklahoma. They competed in the Big 12 Conference, where they finished the season with a 31–2–0 record. Lloyd Noble Center
The Lloyd Noble Center is a 10,967-seat multi-purpose arena located in Norman, Oklahoma, some south of downtown Oklahoma City. It opened in 1975 and is home to the University of Oklahoma men's and women's basketball teams. History Before the construction of the facility, the teams played in the much smaller OU Field House, located on campus near Oklahoma Memorial Stadium. With the success of Sooner basketball in the 1970s and star forward Alvan Adams, demand became sufficient to upgrade to the modern and spacious Lloyd Noble Center, named after an alumnus and former member of the OU Board of Regents who gave OU's first ever $1 million gift to finance the center. 2022 NCAA Women's Gymnastics Championship
The 2022 NCAA Women's Gymnastics Championships was held from April 14–16, 2022 at the Dickies Arena in Fort Worth, Texas. The semifinals and the national championship were televised on ESPN2 and ABC, respectively. Magness Arena is a multi-purpose collegiate sports arena in Denver, Colorado. It was built from 1997 to 1999 as part of the Daniel L. Ritchie Center, the sports complex at the University of Denver. It is home to the Denver Pioneers ice hockey and basketball teams. It replaces the former DU Arena which was razed in 1997 to make way for the Ritchie Center. Desert Financial Arena (formerly ASU Activity Center and Wells Fargo Arena) is a 14,198-seat multi-purpose arena located at 600 E Veterans Way in Tempe, Arizona, a suburb of Phoenix. Kitty Magee Arena
Pioneer Hall is a building on the campus of Texas Woman's University in Denton, Texas, that is the home of the TWU Pioneers basketball, gymnastics, and volleyball teams as well as numerous fitness facilities, classrooms, and offices. Groundbreaking occurred on March 8, 1996, and the $15.5 million facility was completed by spring 1997. It was dedicated in 1998, and, as of 2013, was the most recently constructed building on TWU's campus. Michigan Wolverines Women's Gymnastics
The Michigan Wolverines women's gymnastics team represents the University of Michigan and competes in the Big Ten Conference. Under head coach Bev Plocki, the team has won 25 Big Ten championships and advanced to 25 NCAA Women's Gymnastics Championships, including sixteen consecutive appearances from 1993 to 2008.
