2022 O Gran Camiño
The 2022 O Gran Camiño ''(English: The Great Way)'' was a road cycling stage race that took place from 24 to 27 February 2022 in the autonomous community of Galicia in northwestern Spain. The race was rated as a category 2.1 event on the 2022 UCI Europe Tour calendar, and was the inaugural edition of O Gran Camiño. Teams Four of the 18 UCI WorldTeams, eight UCI ProTeams, and five UCI Continental teams made up the 17 teams that participated in the race. All but three teams entered a full squad of seven riders; , , and each entered six riders. With one late non-starter, was reduced to six riders. In total, 115 riders started the race, of which 109 finished. 2022 UCI Europe Tour
The 2022 UCI Europe Tour was the eighteenth season of the UCI Europe Tour. The 2022 season began on 23 January 2022 with the Trofeo Luis Puig, Clàssica Comunitat Valenciana 1969, and concluded on 16 October 2022 with the Chrono des Nations and the Veneto Classic. Throughout the season, points are awarded to the top finishers of stages within stage races and the final general classification standings of each of the stages races and one-day events. The quality and complexity of a race also determines how many points are awarded to the top finishers, the higher the UCI rating of a race, the more points are awarded.
