2022 Copa Constitució
The 2022 Copa Constitució was the 30th edition of the Andorran national football knockout tournament. The opening round of this edition of the cup was played on 16 January 2022. Sant Julià were the defending champions after winning the previous final over Atlètic Club d'Escaldes by a score of 2–1. Schedule First round Twelve clubs competed in the first round. The matches were played on 16 January 2022. Quarter–finals Eight clubs competed in the quarter–finals: the six winners from the first round and two clubs receiving a bye. Semi–finals The four quarter–final winners competed in the semi–finals. Final The final was played between the winners of the semi-finals on 29 May 2022. Andorra
Andorra, officially the Principality of Andorra, is a Sovereignty, sovereign landlocked country on the Iberian Peninsula, in the eastern Pyrenees in Southwestern Europe, Andorra–France border, bordered by France to the north and Spain to Andorra–Spain border, the south. FC Ordino
Futbol Club Ordino is an Andorran professional football club based in Ordino. Three-time winners of the Segona Divisió, the club currently plays in Primera Divisió. History Founded in 2010 as a football academy, FC Ordino was admitted by the clubs of the league in 2012 and won their first 11 matches in the Segona Divisió. In May 2013, Ordino were promoted to the top division, after winning every game they played in the Segona Divisió. Argentine footballer Javier Saviola joined as an assistant coach in September 2016. In the 2010s the club reached two Andorran Cup semifinals, the first during the 2014–15 season, against Lusitans, and the second in 2016–17 season, against Sant Julià. 2021–22 Segona Divisió
The 2021–22 Segona Divisió, also known as Lliga UNIDA, was the 23rd season of second-tier football in Andorra. The season began on 18 September 2021 and ended on 22 May 2022. Teams Ordino won the league the previous season, and were promoted to the Primera Divisió. Penya Encarnada were relegated from the Primera Divisió and joined the Segona Divisió. UE Extremenya returned to the league after not participating the previous season. Jenlai withdrew from the league and all of their results were void. 2021–22 Primera Divisió
The 2021–22 Primera Divisió was the 27th season of top-tier football in Andorra. The season began on 19 September 2021. The league champion qualified to compete in the 2022–23 UEFA Champions League. Inter Club d'Escaldes were the defending Primera Divisió champions. Teams Penya Encarnada d'Andorra, Penya Encarnada were relegated from the Primera Divisió after finishing in last place the previous season. Estadi Nacional
The Estadi Nacional is a stadium located in Andorra la Vella. It is the national stadium of Andorra, and is used for association football and rugby union. It has a capacity of 3,306, and the pitch is made of artificial turf. History The stadium was built at the former ground of the Camp d'Esports del M.I. Consell General. Construction started in 2013 and finished in 2014. The stadium is the home of the Andorra national football team and the Andorra national rugby union team. UE Extremenya
UE Extremenya is an Andorran football club based in the parish of La Massana. The club currently plays in Segona Divisió. History The club was founded in 1998 as CE Cerni. The club played the 1998–99 Campionat de Lliga, being relegated to the Segona Divisió at the end of the season. They stayed in the Second Division until the coming back in the top flight during the 2002–03 season. The club was relegated after finishing 8th at the end of the regular season. The club suffered another relegation to the Second Division for the 2005–06 season after one year in the top division. CE Carroi
Club Esportiu Carroi is an Andorran football club based in the capital city of Andorra la Vella. The club currently plays in Segona Divisió. History Founded in 2014 as a football academy CE Carroi has been a successful club at the national youth level also taking part in internationally renowned youth competitions in Europe, such as the Mediterranean International Cup or the Andorra International Cup. UE Engordany
Unió Esportiva Engordany is an Andorran football and basketball club based in Escaldes-Engordany. The club football section plays in Primera Divisió. History The club was founded on 2 October 1980 as Unió Esportiva Engordany Futbol Club in the main venue of Engordany by Manuel Puerta Martín, Manuel Varela Valés and Josep Rodríguez Sànchez. On 28 January 1981 the club was established and was later renamed simply as UE Engordany. In 2001 the club was affiliated in the FAF and began competing in the Segona Divisió, being promoted to Primera Divisió in 2003.
