2022 CF Montréal Season
The 2022 Club de Foot Montréal season was the club's 29th season of existence, and their 11th in Major League Soccer (MLS), the top tier of the American soccer pyramid. In addition to competing in MLS, the club also played in Canadian Championship, where they were defending their title from 2021, and the 2022 CONCACAF Champions League. Montreal has eight slots allotted from the league and sold one to Orlando City SC and one to LAFC. Club de Foot Montréal () is a Canadian professional Association football, soccer club based in Montreal. The club competes in Major League Soccer (MLS) as a member of the Eastern Conference (MLS), Eastern Conference. Founded in 1992 as the Montreal Impact, they began playing in the MLS in 2012 as the league's nineteenth franchise and third Canadian club. Saputo Stadium (Canadian French, French: ''Stade Saputo'') is a soccer-specific stadium at Olympic Park, Montreal, Olympic Park in the borough of Mercier–Hochelaga-Maisonneuve in Montreal, Quebec, Canada.
