Tokyo Metropolitan Gymnasium
is a sporting complex in Sendagaya, Shibuya, Tokyo, Japan. Built in 1954 for the World Amateur wrestling, Wrestling Championship, it was also used as the venue for Gymnastics at the 1964 Summer Olympics, gymnastics at the 1964 Summer Olympics, and hosted the table tennis at the 2020 Summer Olympics, table tennis competition at the 2020 Summer Olympics. The gymnasium was rebuilt to a futuristic design created by Pritzker Prize winner Fumihiko Maki from 1986 to 1990. The gymnasium is a one-minute walk from Sendagaya Station on the Chūō-Sōbu Line and Kokuritsu Kyogijo Station on the Toei Oedo Line. Yugo Kobayashi
is a Japanese badminton player affiliated with Tonami team. He was the men's doubles silver medalist at the 2019 World Championships and the men's doubles gold medalist at the 2021 World Championships, being first ever Japanese men's doubles to become world champions. Goh V Shem
Goh V Shem (; born Goh Wei Shem; 20 May 1989) is a Malaysian badminton player in the doubles event. He was partnered with Tan Wee Kiong after their outstanding performance at the 2014 Thomas Cup. Together, Goh and Tan won the gold medal for the men's doubles event at the 2014 Commonwealth Games as well as all their matches in the mixed team event, helping Malaysia retain the gold medal for the third consecutive time. They also won the bronze medal at the 2014 Asian Games and the silver medal at the 2016 Rio Olympics, thus making them the second ever Malaysian men's doubles pair to win the silver medal at the Olympic Games 20 years after the feat was achieved by Cheah Soon Kit and Yap Kim Hock in 1996 Atlanta. Marvin Emil Seidel (; born 9 November 1995) is a German badminton player. He was the bronze medalist at the 2013 European Junior Championships in the boys' doubles, and a silver medalist at the 2021 European Championships in the men's doubles event. Mark Lamsfuß
Mark Lamsfuß (born 19 April 1994) is a German badminton player and plays for the BC Wipperfeld. He and his partner, Isabel Lohau won a bronze medal in mixed doubles at the 2022 BWF World Championships. Career Lamsfuß started playing badminton at aged 3, and in 2013 he won the Dutch Open Junior tournament in the mixed doubles event partnered with Franziska Volkmann. He and Volkmann also won bronze at the 2013 European Junior Badminton Championships. Nur Izzudin
Nur Izzuddin bin Mohd Rumsani (born 11 November 1997) is a Malaysian badminton player. He was a silver medalist in the 2024 Asian Championships. Izzuddin was part of the Malaysia winning team in the 2022 Asia Team Championships. He won the 2022 German Open in the men's doubles event partnered with Goh Sze Fei, their first BWF World Tour title. They reached a career-high number 1 in the BWF world ranking on 27 May 2025. Goh Sze Fei
Goh Sze Fei ( zh, t=吳世飛, p=Wú Shìfēi; born 18 August 1997) is a Malaysian badminton player. He was a silver medalist in the 2024 Asian Championships. Goh was part of the Malaysia winning team in the 2022 Asia Team Championships. He won the 2022 German Open in the men's doubles event partnered with Nur Izzuddin, their first BWF World Tour title. Seo Seung-jae
Seo Seung-jae (; born 4 September 1997) is a South Korean badminton player. He is the first South Korean player in 24 years to have won two gold medals in a single edition of the BWF World Championships, by winning the mixed and men's doubles event at the 2023 BWF World Championships, partnering with Chae Yoo-jung and Kang Min-hyuk respectively. Choi Sol-gyu
Choi Sol-gyu (; born 5 August 1995) is a South Korean badminton player. He was a part of the Korean national team that won the 2017 Sudirman Cup. Career Choi has been best known as a mixed doubles player since his back-to-back titles at the Asian Junior Championships in 2012 and 2013. However, as a junior, he was also successful in boys' singles, in which he won the under-17 title at the 2011 Surabaya Cup, and the Malaysia International Youth U19 in both 2012 and 2013. Teo Ee Yi (; born 4 April 1993) is a Malaysian badminton player. He won a silver medal with Ong Yew Sin at the 2023 Badminton Asia Championships and a bronze medal with Ong at the 2021 BWF World Championships. In the junior event, he captured the golds medal at the 2011 World Junior Championships in the team and boys' doubles events. Anders Skaarup Rasmussen
Anders Skaarup Rasmussen (born 15 February 1989) is a Danish badminton player. Rasmussen won the men's doubles title at the 2018 European Championships and at the 2023 European Games partnered with Kim Astrup. He also won the bronze medal at the World Championships in 2021 and later a silver medal in 2023. Together with Astrup, he reached a career high of World number 1 in the men's doubles in December 2024.
