The 2021–22 Women's Basketball Super League () was the 42nd edition of the top-tier level professional women's basketball league in Turkey. Teams Adana Basketbol and Canik Belediyespor finished the 2020–21 regular season in the last two places and were relegated to the Second League (TKBL). In May 2021, Bursa Büyükşehir Belediyespor as the regular season champion and Antalya 07 Basketbol as the play-off winner, were promoted to the Super League. Elazığ İl Özel İdaresi Spor Kulübü is a Turkish women's basketball club based in Elazığ, Turkey. The club was founded in 2010 and currently competing in the Turkish Super League and EuroCup Women. History Elazığ İl Özel İdarespor was founded in 2010 and started to compete in professional leagues in 2014. After four seasons in the Second League, the club started the 2018–19 season with the Federation Cup championship and finished the season with the play-off championship in the Second League and promoted to the Super League. In their first season, they finished the first half of the Super League in the 4th place and qualified to compete in the Turkish Cup. After the 2020 Elazığ earthquake, the club had to move to Ankara and played their home games in there until the league was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Marina Maljković ( sr-Cyrl, Марина Маљковић; born 26 September 1981) is a Serbian professional basketball coach. She currently serves as a head coach for the Serbia women's national basketball team. Club career As a daughter of Serbian coach and four-time Euroleague winner Božidar Maljković, Marina had the opportunity to start her coaching career early at the age of 16, when she became an assistant coach in Abeilles de Rueil, a French club she was playing for at the time. Elazığ () is a city in the Eastern Anatolia region of Turkey, and the administrative centre of Elazığ Province and Elazığ District. The Servet Tazegül Arena () is a multi-purpose indoor arena located at Yenişehir district of Mersin, Turkey, named in honor of the Olympic, world and European champion taekwondo practitioner Servet Tazegül (born 1988).
