2021–22 United Counties League
The 2021–22 season was the 115th in the history of the United Counties League, a association football, football competition in England. The league operated three divisions in the English football league system for the first time since the 1979–80 United Counties League, 1979–80 season. These are the Premier Divisions North and South at Step 5, both firsts in the league, and Division One at Step 6. The allocations for Steps 5 and 6 were announced by The Football Association on 18 May 2021, and were subject to appeal. After the abandonment of the 2019–20 and 2020–21 seasons due to the COVID-19 pandemic in England, numerous promotions were decided on a points per game basis over the previous two seasons. As part of the National League System's restructure, the FA's Alliance and Leagues Committees recommended the league's expansion to gain another Step 5 division. The United Counties League (also known after its sponsor as the ''GCE Hire Fleet Ltd. United Counties League'') is an England, English association football, football league covering an area including the English Counties of the United Kingdom, counties of northern Bedfordshire, northern Buckinghamshire, most of Cambridgeshire, southern Derbyshire, southern Leicestershire, most of Lincolnshire, western Norfolk, Northamptonshire, southern Nottinghamshire, northern Oxfordshire, Rutland, eastern Staffordshire, eastern Warwickshire and eastern West Midlands (county), West Midlands. It has a total of five divisions, three for first teams and two for reserve teams, but the reserves' divisions were merged into a single division for the 2013–14 season and remains so at present. Selston F
Selston is a large village and civil parish in the Ashfield District of Nottinghamshire, England. It is situated 12 miles (19.3 km) north-northwest of Nottingham and close to the border with Derbyshire. The village is located between the towns of Kirkby-in-Ashfield, Sutton-in-Ashfield, Eastwood, Alfreton, Heanor and Ripley. At the time of the 2001 census Selston Parish (which includes the settlements of Underwood, Jacksdale, Westwood, Bagthorpe, New Selston and Selston proper) had a population of 12,208 increasing to 12,596 at the 2011 census, and 12,240 for the 2021 census. Quorn is a brand of Meat alternative, meat substitute products. Quorn originated in the UK and is sold primarily in Europe, but is available in 11 countries. 2020–21 Northern Counties East Football League
The 2020–21 Northern Counties East Football League season was the 39th in the history of Northern Counties East Football League, a football competition in England. Due to the restrictions on clubs' ability to play matches in the COVID-19 lockdowns, competitions at Steps 3–6 were curtailed on 24 February 2021. Promotions and restructuring The scheduled restructuring of non-League football took place at the end of the season, with a new division added to the Northern Premier League at Step 4 for 2021–22. Promotions from Steps 5 to 4 and 6 to 5 were based on points per game across all matches over the two cancelled seasons (2019-20 and 2020-21), while teams were promoted to Step 6 on the basis of a subjective application process. Skegness ( ) is a seaside town and civil parish in the East Lindsey District of Lincolnshire, England.
