The 2021–22 NBL season was the 41st season for the Perth Wildcats in the National Basketball League (Australia), NBL. The 2022 season marks the first time in 35 years that the Perth Wildcats have not qualified for the 2022 NBL Finals, finals, having last failed to do so in 1986 NBL Finals, 1986. Matt Hodgson (basketball)
Matthew John Hodgson (born 2 August 1991) is an Australian professional basketball player for the Southern Districts Spartans of the NBL1 North. He played college basketball for Southern Utah University and Saint Mary's College of California before debuting in the National Basketball League (NBL) and playing for the Adelaide 36ers, Brisbane Bullets and Perth Wildcats. Early life Hodgson was born in the Ipswich suburb of Booval and later attended Ipswich Grammar School where he played basketball for coach Danny Breen. He graduated from Ipswich Grammar in 2008, and earned himself a scholarship to the Australian Institute of Sport (AIS) in 2009. Michael Frazier II (born March 8, 1994) is an American professional basketball player for Amman United of the Jordanian Premier Basketball League. He played college basketball for the Florida Gators. College career In the 2013–14 season, Frazier scored eleven three-pointers in a win against South Carolina, setting a school record. The Cairns Convention Centre is a convention and entertainment centre in Cairns, Queensland, Australia. The venue was selected the World's Best Congress Centre in 2004 and 2014. Kevin David White (born 7 April 1987) is an Australian former professional basketball player who played 12 seasons in the National Basketball League (NBL). High school career White attended Scots College in Sydney, and was a member of its 2004 premiership winning basketball team. He was named the New South Wales High School Basketballer of the Year during his senior year in 2005. College career White redshirted his freshman season while attending San Diego Christian College to recover from a shoulder injury during the 2006–07 season. Majok Maker Majok (born 10 December 1992) is a South Sudanese-Australian professional basketball player for the Ballarat Miners of the NBL1 South. Elphin Sports Centre
The Elphin Sports Centre (formerly known as Dowling Street Stadium) is an indoor sporting venue located in Launceston, Tasmania. Construction commenced at the centre in 1964 and was opened in August the following year. Launceston Casino City played in the National Basketball League (NBL) between 1980 and 1982. During this time, they played their home games at Dowling Street Stadium. Casino City's 1981 championship banner hung on the wall of the old Dowling St courts for many years until being packed up and forgotten about following renovations. Kyle Luke Zunic (born 4 March 1999) is an Australian professional basketball player for the Keilor Thunder of the NBL1 South. He played four seasons of college basketball in the United States for the Winthrop Eagles before joining the Perth Wildcats of the National Basketball League (NBL) in 2021. Oliver Harry Hayes-Brown (born 28 April 2000) is an Australian sportsman who currently plays Australian rules football with the Richmond Football Club.
