2021–22 FC Krasnodar Season
The 2021–22 FC Krasnodar season was the eleventh successive season that Krasnodar play in the Russian Premier League, the highest tier of association football in Russia. They finished the previous season in 10th place, missing out on European football for the first time since 2013–14 season. Aside from the Russian Premier League, Krasnodar also took part in the Russian Cup. Season events On 11 June, Krasnodar announced the signing of Vladimir Ilyin to a three-year contract from Akhmat Grozny. On 4 July, German Onugkha made a permanent move to Vejle, where he'd been on loan to the previous season. On 21 July, Kristoffer Olsson left Krasnodar to join Anderlecht. On 23 July, Krasnodar announced the signing of Jhon Córdoba to a four-year contract from Hertha BSC. FC Krasnodar
FC Krasnodar is a Russian professional football club based in Krasnodar that plays in the Russian Premier League. They are the league's reigning champions. The club was founded in 2008. In 2009, the club was promoted to the Russian First Division, the second highest division of the Russian football league system, despite finishing Zone South of Second Division in third. At the end of the 2010 season, they were promoted to the Russian Premier League for the 2011 season, despite finishing fifth in the first division. In 2013, FC Krasnodar began the construction of the 35,074-seat Krasnodar Stadium which was opened on 9 October 2016. Until the stadium was completed, FC Krasnodar continued playing their home matches in the Kuban Stadium. The 2013–14 FC Krasnodar season was Krasnodars 3rd successive season in the Russian Premier League, the highest tier of football in Russia, in which they recorded their highest ever league finish, 5th, and qualified for the UEFA Europa League. Krasnodar also participated in the 2013–14 Russian Cup where they were runners-up to FC Rostov, losing on Penalties. They started the season with Slavoljub Muslin in charge, however Muslin and the club agreed to mutually cancel their contract on 9 August 2013, with Aleh Konanaw being appointed as the new manager two days later. Magomed-Shapi Kamilyevich Suleymanov (; born 16 December 1999) is a Russian professional footballer who plays as a winger for Major League Soccer club Sporting Kansas City. Zagłębie Lubin S.A. () is a Polish professional association football, football club based in Lubin. Founded in 1945 as ''OMTUR Lubin'', the club competes in the Ekstraklasa.
