The 2021–22 season was Cheltenham Town F.C., Cheltenham Town's 135th year in their history and first season back in EFL League One, League One since the 2008–09 Cheltenham Town F.C. season, 2008–09 season following promotion 2020–21 Cheltenham Town F.C. season, last season. Along with the league, the club also competed in the 2021–22 FA Cup, FA Cup, the 2021–22 EFL Cup, EFL Cup and the 2021–22 EFL Trophy, EFL Trophy. The season covers the period from 1 July 2021 to 30 June 2022. Cheltenham () is a historic spa town and borough adjacent to the Cotswolds in Gloucestershire, England. Jonathan Leko
Jonathan Kisolokele Leko (born 24 April 1999) is a professional footballer who plays as a forward or winger for club Milton Keynes Dons. He began his career with West Bromwich Albion, made his senior debut as a 16-year-old in 2015, and spent time on loan at Bristol City and Charlton Athletic. He joined Birmingham City in 2020, and had a spell on loan at Charlton Athletic in 2021 before signing for Milton Keynes Dons in 2023, from where he had a loan spell at Burton Albion. Leko was born in the Democratic Republic of the Congo and grew up in England from the age of eight. He has represented England at all levels up to under-20. Scott Hogan
Scott Andrew Hogan (born 13 April 1992) is a professional footballer who plays as a forward for club Milton Keynes Dons. Hogan played in the youth system at Rochdale but was released in 2010. He entered non-league football, playing for Woodley Sports, FC Halifax Town, Mossley, Stocksbridge Park Steels, Ashton United and Hyde before a return to Rochdale. He scored 17 goals in 2013–14 which prompted Brentford to sign him in July 2014 for a fee of £750,000. Hogan spent two and a half seasons at Griffin Park and moved to Aston Villa in January 2017. He struggled to establish himself at Villa Park and spent time on loan at Sheffield United in 2018–19 and at Stoke City and Birmingham City in 2019–20 before rejoining Birmingham on a permanent contract in September 2020.
