2021–22 Bradford City A.F.C. Season
The 2021–22 season is Bradford City's 119th year in existence and third consecutive season in League Two. Along with the league, the club will also compete in the FA Cup, the EFL Cup and the EFL Trophy. The season covers the period from 1 July 2021 to 30 June 2022. During pre-season, Derek Adams was appointed as ''Bantams'' new manager. Pre-season friendlies Bradford City revealed they would have pre-season friendlies against Bradford (Park Avenue), Eccleshill United, Doncaster Rovers, Guiseley, Brighouse Town, Blackburn Rovers, Chesterfield and Accrington Stanley as part of their preparations for the new season. Guiseley A
Guiseley ( ) is an area in the metropolitan borough of the City of Leeds, West Yorkshire, England. Historically part of the West Riding of Yorkshire, it is situated south of Otley and Menston and is now a north-western suburb of Leeds. It sits in the Guiseley and Rawdon ward of Leeds City Council and the Leeds North West parliamentary constituency. At the 2001 census, Guiseley with Rawdon had a population of over 21,000, increasing to 22,347 at the 2011 Census. The A65 Otley Road, which passes through the town, is the main shopping street. Gareth Evans (footballer, Born 1988)
Gareth Charles Evans (born 26 April 1988) is an English professional footballer who plays as a winger for Radcliffe. He can also play as a midfielder and at right back. Evans began his career as a youth player with both Manchester United and Crewe Alexandra. He went professional in 2006, but struggled to break into the Crewe first team and went on loans to Leigh RMI in 2006, and Alsager Town in 2007, then moved to his hometown club, Macclesfield Town in that same year. He signed for Bradford City in 2009, before he left them to sign for Yorkshire rivals Rotherham United in June 2011. Lee Anthony Angol (born 4 August 1994) is an English professional footballer who plays as a forward for club Cheltenham Town. Career Wycombe Wanderers On 2 July 2012, Angol was signed by Wycombe Wanderers after leaving Tottenham Hotspur, having been a regular in their academy team. He made his professional debut on 11 August as a 100th-minute substitute for Matt Bloomfield against Watford in the League Cup first round, which finished as a 1–0 defeat after extra time. Nethermoor Park
Nethermoor Park is a association football, football stadium in Guiseley, West Yorkshire and the home ground of Guiseley A.F.C. Opened in 1909, the stadium has a capacity of 4,000. Following the club's promotion to the National League (division), National division of the National League (English football), National League in 2015, plans were submitted to ensure the ground passed the ground grading requirements of a 4,000 capacity with 500 seats; the expansion would involve creating new terraces on three sides of the ground and covering all four sides. Abobaker Mamoun Eisa (born 5 January 1996) is a Sudanese professional footballer who plays as a winger for Thai League 1 club Nongbua Pitchaya. Oliver Samuel Crankshaw (born 12 August 1998) is an English professional footballer who plays as a winger for club Altrincham. Career Crankshaw started his career with Preston North End before joining Northern Premier sides Ramsbottom United and then Clitheroe. Kian Scales (born 9 November 2001) is an English professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Scunthorpe United. Scales began his career with Bradford City, and spent time on loan at Bradford (Park Avenue) and Farsley Celtic, before signing for Scunthorpe United. Horsfall Community Stadium is a sports stadium just off Halifax Road in Bradford, West Yorkshire, England, south-west of the city centre. It is the home of Bradford (Park Avenue) A.F.C. Accrington is a town in the Hyndburn borough of Lancashire, England.
