The 2021–22 Arizona State Sun Devils men's basketball team represented Arizona State University during the 2021–22 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Sun Devils were led by seventh-year head coach Bobby Hurley, and played their home games at Desert Financial Arena in Tempe, Arizona as members of the Pac–12 Conference. Previous season The Sun Devils finished the season 11–14, 7–10 in Pac-12 play to finish in ninth place. Bobby Hurley
Robert Hurley (born June 28, 1971) is an American college basketball coach and former professional player who is the head coach of the Arizona State Sun Devils. He was previously the head coach at the University at Buffalo. As a college senior, he was a unanimous first-team All-America for the Duke Blue Devils, with whom he won consecutive national championships. He is the all-time leader in assists in NCAA basketball. He played in the National Basketball Association (NBA) for the Sacramento Kings and Vancouver Grizzlies from 1993 to 1999. The New Mexico Lobos men's basketball team represents the University of New Mexico, competing in the Mountain West Conference (MWC) in NCAA Division I.
