2021 Hammarby Fotboll Season
The 2021 season was Hammarby Fotboll, Hammarby Fotboll's 106th in existence, their 52nd season in Allsvenskan and their 7th consecutive season in the league. They competed in 2021 Allsvenskan, Allsvenskan, 2020–21 Svenska Cupen, Svenska Cupen and UEFA Europa Conference League, Conference League during the year. League play started in April, initially behind closed doors due to the COVID-19 pandemic in Sweden, coronavirus pandemic. Hammarby Fotboll, more commonly known as Hammarby IF or simply Hammarby ( or, especially locally, ), is a Swedish professional association football, football club from Stockholm founded in 1915. The club is based at 3Arena (Stockholm), 3 Arena in Johanneshov but founded in the neighbouring Södermalm district of Stockholm City Centre, an area that is considered the club's heartland. Aljoša Matko
Aljoša Matko (born 29 March 2000) is a Slovenian footballer who plays as a forward for Nemzeti Bajnokság I club Újpest and the Slovenia national team. Early life Matko was born in Novo Mesto and grew up in Črnomelj. He began his career at the age of four with local club Bela Krajina, where he stayed for eight years. Mohanad Abdulkadhim Qasim Al Jebur Jeahze (; pronounced ; born 10 April 1997) is a professional footballer who plays as a left-back for Sarpsborg 08. Richard Göran Emil Magyar (; born 3 May 1991) is a Swedish former professional footballer who played as a centre-back. In a 12-year career, he represented and captained both Halmstads BK and Hammarby IF in Allsvenskan, also spending time abroad with FC Aarau and Greuther Fürth. Trond Dennis Widgren (born 28 March 1994) is a Swedish footballer who plays as a left back for IK Sirius in Allsvenskan. Club career Östersunds FK Widgren started to play football at IFK Östersund, before moving to other local club Östersunds FK at age 14. He made his debut for their senior team in 2010. During Widgren's time at the club, Östersund won several promotions from Division 2, Sweden's fourth tier, to Allsvenskan, the highest division. Simon Christer Sandberg (born 25 March 1994) is a Swedish footballer who plays as a right back for Allsvenskan club Sirius. Early life Sandberg grew up in Partille and played both football, with the local club Björndammens BK, and handball during his youth. His father Dennis Sandberg is a professional handball coach. David Ousted Hansen (born 1 February 1985) is a Danish retired professional footballer who played as a goalkeeper. He played with SønderjyskE and Randers in the Danish Superliga, before moving to the Major League Soccer in 2013 where he went on to represent Vancouver Whitecaps, D.C. United and Chicago Fire.
