2020–21 TCU Horned Frogs Men's Basketball Team
The 2020–21 TCU Horned Frogs men's basketball team represented Texas Christian University during the 2020–21 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The team is led by fifth-year head coach Jamie Dixon, and plays their home games at Schollmaier Arena in Fort Worth, Texas as a member of the Big 12 Conference. They finished the season 12-14, 5-11 in Big 12 Play to finish in 8th place. They lost in the first round of the Big 12 tournament to Kansas State. Jamie Dixon
James Patrick Dixon II (born November 10, 1965) is an American college basketball coach who is the head coach of the TCU Horned Frogs men's team, where he played college ball. He previously served as the head coach of the University of Pittsburgh men's basketball team from 2003 through 2016. In 2009, he was the head coach for the FIBA Under-19 2009 gold-medal winning United States national basketball team for which he was named the 2009 USA Basketball National Coach of the Year. Dixon was named Big East Coach of the Year in 2004, Naismith College Coach of the Year in 2009, Jim Phelan National Coach of the Year in 2010, and the ''Sporting News'' National Coach of the Year award in 2011. Dixon played college basketball at Texas Christian University, was selected by the Washington Bullets in the 1987 NBA draft, and played professionally with the Continental Basketball Association's Lacrosse Catbirds and for Hawke's Bay Hawks of the New Zealand National Basketball League. Morton Ranch High School is a secondary school in the Katy Independent School District. It opened in 2004, and is located in unincorporated Harris County, Texas, United States. It is part of a multi-school complex, including Morton Ranch Elementary that opened in 2008 and Morton Ranch Junior High School that opened in 2003. Findlay Prep
Findlay Prep is a former high school basketball program located in Henderson, Nevada. History The program was created in 2006 by local businessman Cliff Findlay, who owns several car dealerships in the Las Vegas area. Despite closing its high school in 2010 due to the local economic downturn, the Findlay Prep players took high school classes at Henderson International School. Findlay was part of the Nevada Interscholastic Activities Association (NIAA), but they were ineligible to compete in state championships because they were allowed to recruit from outside the state. Instead, they competed for National High School Invitational (NHSI) championships, an 8 team tournament featuring the top high school teams in the country played in New York.
