2020–21 Segona Divisió
The 2020–21 Segona Divisió, also known as Lliga UNIDA, was the 22nd season of second-tier football in Andorra. The season was scheduled to begin on 25 October 2020. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic in Andorra, the season was delayed to potentially begin on 8 November 2020. Eventually, the season began on 29 November 2020. Teams Penya Encarnada won the league the previous season, and were promoted to the Primera Divisió. Ordino were relegated from the Primera Divisió and joined the Segona Divisió. Jenlai returned to the league after not participating the previous season. The Segona Divisió (Second Division), or Lliga Unida QP for sponsorship reasons, is the second-highest level of men's football in Andorra. CE Jenlai
CE Jenlai, also known simply as Jenlai, is an Andorran football team based in the village of Escaldes-Engordany. The club currently plays in Segona Divisió. History CE Jenlai were founded in 2008 under the name of ''Atlètic Amèrica''. During the 2008–09 season the club was renamed CE Jenlai. The Andorran team was playing in Segona Divisió until 2011, for three consecutive seasons. After two seasons, in 2013 the club returned to Segona Divisió recording a notable season finishing 2nd and being able to compete at the promotion play-offs. They lost 1–6 in aggregate against Inter Club d'Escaldes. Two seasons later Jenlai achieved the promotion to Primera Divisió after winning the Segona Divisió title in 2016. 2021 Copa Constitució
The 2021 Copa Constitució was the 29th edition of the Andorran national football knockout tournament. The opening round of this edition of the cup was played on 17 February 2021. Inter Club d'Escaldes were the defending champions after winning the final over FC Santa Coloma by a score of 2–0. Schedule First round Eight clubs competed in the first round. The 2020–21 Primera Divisió was the 26th season of top-tier football in Andorra. The season was initially scheduled to begin on 25 October 2020 and end in May 2021. Due to new restrictions related to the COVID-19 pandemic in Andorra, the start of the season was delayed. The season began on 29 November 2020. The league winner qualified to participate in the 2021–22 UEFA Champions League. Inter Club d'Escaldes were the defending Primera Divisió champions. Teams Ordino were relegated from the Primera Divisió after finishing in last place the previous season. As Segona Divisió champions, Penya Encarnada were promoted to replace Ordino. Inter Club d'Escaldes were the defending Primera Divisió champions. UE Engordany
Unió Esportiva Engordany is an Andorran football and basketball club based in Escaldes-Engordany. The club football section plays in Primera Divisió. History The club was founded on 2 October 1980 as Unió Esportiva Engordany Futbol Club in the main venue of Engordany by Manuel Puerta Martín, Manuel Varela Valés and Josep Rodríguez Sànchez. On 28 January 1981 the club was established and was later renamed simply as UE Engordany. In 2001 the club was affiliated in the FAF and began competing in the Segona Divisió, being promoted to Primera Divisió in 2003. However the club was relegated the following year after one season playing in the Andorran top league. In the 2006–07 season they finished 3rd in the Andorran 2nd division. FC Encamp
FC Encamp is an Andorran football club based in Encamp. Founded in 1950, it is the oldest football club of the Andorran First Division. The club currently plays in Primera Divisió. History FC Encamp was founded in 1950 being the dean of the Andorran premier league and the second football club created in the pyrenean country of Andorra after FC Andorra (founded in 1942). Successfully the team won the Primera Divisió in the 1995–96 season, and five years later their second league title (2001–02) qualifying for the UEFA Cup. Fútbol Club Penya d'Andorra is an Andorran professional football club created by fans of the Portuguese club Benfica, based in Andorra La Vella. The club currently plays in the Primera Divisió. Futbol Club Ordino is an Andorran professional football club based in Ordino. Three-time winners of the Segona Divisió, the club currently plays in Primera Divisió. History Founded in 2010 as a football academy, FC Ordino was admitted by the clubs of the league in 2012 and won their first 11 matches in the Segona Divisió.
