The 2020–21 National Basketball League (Bulgaria) season is the 80th season of the Bulgarian NBL. Teams PBC Academic, Academic Sofia resigned from the league due to financial difficulties. Regular season In the regular season, teams play against each other three times home-and-away in a double Round-robin tournament, round-robin format. The eight first qualified teams advance to the playoffs. 2019–20 National Basketball League (Bulgaria) Season
The 2019–20 National Basketball League (Bulgaria) season was the 79th season of the Bulgarian top basketball league. On 13 March 2020, the Bulgarian government halted the league until 13 April 2020, due to the COVID-19 pandemic. On 16 April 2020, after a month of suspension, the Bulgarian Basketball Federation officially ended the 2019–20 season, after video conference vote of board of directors. BC Balkan Botevgrad, Balkan ended the season first, with eighteen wins, but the title was not assigned. Teams BC Chernomorets, Chernomorets from the second league joined the same nine teams from the previous season. Kolodruma
Kolodruma () is a velodrome and a multifunctional indoor arena located in Plovdiv, Bulgaria. It has a seating capacity of 4,800 to 7,500 spectators depending on its use. It is built on the place of the former track cycling velodrome in Plovdiv and currently is the only indoor velodrome in Bulgaria. Besides cycling events the arena can host additional 22 types of sports and can serve as concert's hall. The complex has also underground parking facility for 300 vehicles, a modern press centre, dressing rooms, coaching facilities, a sports-recreational centre, restaurants and a large commercial centre for a wide variety of sports merchandise and kit. Diana Hall () is a multifunctional Indoor arena in Yambol, Bulgaria. The arena was opened in 1964 and has a seating capacity for 3,000 people. It is the home of BC Yambol. Besides basketball, local teams use the arena for practicing trampolining, boxing, wrestling, and range shooting . Pleven ( ) is the seventh most populous city in Bulgaria.
