The 2020–21 Liga Premier de México season is the third-tier Association football, football league of Mexico. The tournament began on 18 September 2020 and finished on 16 May 2021. Changes from the previous season * Club Universidad Nacional Premier, UNAM Premier has discontinued their participation in Serie A to participate in the new Liga de Expansión MX. * Atlético Bahía, Atlético Reynosa, Atlético San Francisco, Club Calor, Calor, Coras de Nayarit F.C., Coras de Nayarit, Correcaminos UAT Premier, Deportivo Nuevo Chimalhuacán, La Paz F.C. Liga Premier De México
Liga Premier is a professional association football league in Mexico and the third level of the Mexican football league system. Formerly known as Segunda División de México (1950–2017). It has 52 participating clubs, divided into two divisions (Serie A de México, Serie A and Serie B de México, Serie B). They compete from the fall to spring each season, promotion and relegation between each group, and promotion to Liga de Expansión MX and relegation to Liga TDP within the league system. The Club de Fútbol Calor, commonly known as Calor, is a Mexican football (soccer), football club based in Reynosa, Tamaulipas. The club was founded in 2001, and currently plays in the Liga Premier de México. History The team was founded in 2001 under the name ''El Calor de San Pedro'', based in San Pedro, Coahuila and participated in the Liga TDP, Tercera División de México. The Club Cafetaleros de Chiapas Premier was a team that played in the Liga Premier in Tapachula, Chiapas, Mexico and was the official reserve team for Cafetaleros de Chiapas.
