2020–21 Liga EBA Season
The 2020–21 Liga EBA season was the 27th season of the Spanish basketball fourth league. It started on 17 October 2020 with the first round of the regular season and ended on 16 May 2021 with the promotion playoffs. It was the following season after the 2019–20 season was curtailed in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Consequently, the competition systems were adapted to the growth of the number of teams with a series of independent modifications in each of the five conferences. Conference A The Conference A consisted of 3 groups of 11 teams from Galicia, Asturias, Cantabria, Castile and León, Navarre, La Rioja and Basque Country. Liga EBA
The Tercera FEB, formerly known as Liga EBA (''Liga Española de Baloncesto Aficionado''), is a Spanish basketball championship that is the fourth tier level in the Spanish basketball league system, after the Liga ACB, Primera FEB and Segunda FEB. It is administered by the Spanish Basketball Federation, FEB. It was previously the Spanish second tier level competition from 1994 to 1996, the third tier level from 1996 to 2000, and the fifth tier level, from 2007 to 2009. From the 2024–25 season it will be named Tercera FEB. Competition format The Tercera FEB is made up of five inter-regional groups. After the regular season, sixteen teams advance to the playoffs, where only four teams are promotion and relegation, promoted to the Segunda FEB. Santander ( , ; ) is the capital of the Autonomous communities of Spain, autonomous community of Cantabria, Spain. It has a population of 172,000 (2017). Agrupación Deportiva Cantbasket 04, also known as Cantbasket, is a basketball team based in Santander, Cantabria, Spain, who currently play in Liga EBA. History AD Cantbasket 04, registered in the Sports Entities Registry of the Government of Cantabria, was founded in 2004 by two co-founders who began as basketball coaches at Colegio Altamira, located in Revilla, Camargo. Step by step, Cantbasket was growing thanks to agreement with different schools of the city of Santander.
