2020–21 CEV Champions League
The 2020–21 CEV Champions League was the 62nd edition of the highest level European volleyball club competition organised by the European Volleyball Confederation. CEV Champions League
The CEV Champions League is the top official competition for men's volleyball clubs from the whole of Europe. The competition is organised every year by the European Volleyball Confederation. Formula (2018–19 to present) Qualification A total of 20 teams participate in the main competition, with 18 teams being allocated direct vacancies on the basis of ranking list for European Cup Competitions, and 2 teams from the qualification rounds. League round 20 teams take part in the League round where they are split into 5 groups. After each match the following points are assigned: * Winner (3:0 or 3:1) – 3 points * Winner (3:2) – 2 points * Loser (2:3) – 1 point * Loser (1:3 or 0:3) – 0 points Each pool will be contested in a six-leg double round-robin home-and-away format. Quarterfinals
A single-elimination knockout, or sudden-death tournament is a type of elimination tournament where the loser of a match-up is immediately eliminated from the tournament. Each winner will play another in the next round, until the final match-up, whose winner becomes the tournament champion(s). ACH Volley
ACH Volley is a Slovenian professional men's volleyball club based in Ljubljana that competes in the Slovenian League. They play their home matches at Tivoli Hall. The club was founded in 1970 and was based in Bled until 2011, when the team relocated to Ljubljana. ACH have won the Slovenian championship a record 21 times, including 16 consecutive titles between 2005 and 2020. Knack Roeselare is a Belgian professional men's volleyball club based in Roeselare. They compete in the Euro Millions Volley League and the CEV Champions League. The club was founded on February 12, 1964. Officially they started in the lowest division of the Belgian Volleyball in September 1964. They quickly grew into one of the biggest clubs in Belgium. Volley Lindemans Aalst (formerly known as Asse-Lennik and VC Lennik) is a volleyball club based in Aalst, Belgium. Arkas Spor is a professional volleyball team based in İzmir, Turkey. It plays in the Turkish Men's Volleyball League and in the CEV Champions League. The Körfez Sports Club began competing in the 2nd volleyball league in the 1999-00 season. In 2001 it became the Saint Joseph Sports Club and in 2003 it was renamed Arkas Saint Joseph.
