2020–2021 Armenian Protests
The 2020−2021 Armenian protests (also known as the March of Dignity; ) were a series of protests that began following the 2020 Nagorno-Karabakh ceasefire agreement, Nagorno-Karabakh ceasefire agreement on 10 November 2020. After Prime Minister of Armenia, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan announced that he signed an agreement to cede Armenian-occupied territories surrounding Nagorno-Karabakh, Armenian-occupied territories in Azerbaijan and put an end to 2020 Nagorno-Karabakh war, six weeks of hostilities over the Nagorno-Karabakh region, thousands of people took to the streets, and hundreds stormed the National Assembly Building of Armenia, Parliament building in the capital Yerevan. The Alexander Spendiaryan National Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre (), simply known by locals as , is an opera theatre in Yerevan. It officially opened on 20 January 1933, with a performance of Alexander Spendiaryan's opera '' Almast'' as its first show. The opera building was designed by architect Alexander Tamanian. It consists of two concert halls: the Aram Khatchaturian Concert Hall with 1,400 seats and the Alexander Spendiaryan Opera and Ballet National Theatre with 1,200 seats. My Step Alliance
The My Step Alliance (, IKD) was a political alliance in Armenia formed by the Civil Contract party, the Mission Party and various independent representatives of civil society. Union for National Self-Determination () is an Armenian political party. It was founded in 1987 by Paruyr Hayrikyan, a Soviet dissident seeking independence for Armenia. History The party was founded in 1987 as the successor of the defunct National United Party.
