Jannik Sinner defeated Vasek Pospisil in the final, 6–4, 3–6, 7–6(7–3) to win the singles tennis title at the 2020 Sofia Open. It was his first ATP Tour title. Jannik Sinner (born 16 August 2001) is an Italian professional tennis player. He is currently ranked as the world No. 1 in men's singles by the ATP, the first Italian to reach the top ranking. Illya Vasylovych Marchenko (; born 8 September 1987) is a Ukrainian tennis player.
