The team was announced as a member of League One on October 9, 2019. History On October 9, 2019, the New England Revolution announced the formation of a reserve team in USL League One that would begin play in the 2020 season and that they would play at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough. On November 25, 2019, the club announced its first manager, Clint Peay. Hartford Athletic is an American professional soccer team based in Hartford, Connecticut. The club was founded in 2018 and started play in the USL Championship in 2019. It is the only pro soccer team in Connecticut. History On June 8, 2021, Hartford Athletic announced they will be fielding a women's side to compete in the new USL W League beginning in 2022. College Verfurth played NCAA Division I college soccer for Virginia Tech Hokies in the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC). In 2014 he appeared in 14 games, making 13 starts.
