2020 Malmö FF Season
The 2020 season is Malmö FF, Malmö FF's 109th in existence, their 85th season in Allsvenskan and their 20th consecutive season in the league. They are competing in 2020 Allsvenskan, Allsvenskan, the 2019–20 Svenska Cupen where they finished as runners-up, the 2020–21 Svenska Cupen, the 2019–20 UEFA Europa League where they were knocked out in the round of 32, and the 2020–21 UEFA Europa League where they were knocked out in the play-off round. The season began with the first leg of the round of 32 of the UEFA Europa League on 20 February, league play started on 15 June and is scheduled to conclude on 6 December. The season has been heavily affected by the COVID-19 pandemic in Sweden, COVID-19 pandemic, delaying the start of Allsvenskan from April until June, and the knock-out stage of Svenska Cupen from March and April until June and July. Malmö Fotbollförening (), commonly known simply as Malmö FF or MFF, is a Swedish professional football club based in Malmö, Scania. They compete in the Allsvenskan, the top division of Swedish football, and play home matches at the Eleda Stadion. Malmö FF is Sweden's most successful football club in terms of domestic trophies won. Uwe Rösler
Uwe Rösler (; born 15 November 1968) is a German football manager and former professional footballer. He most recently managed Danish Superliga club AGF from 2022 to 2025. As a player he was a centre forward, notably playing in the Premier League for Manchester City, where he was the leading goalscorer for three consecutive seasons from 1994–95 to 1996–97, and in the Bundesliga for 1. FC Nürnberg and 1. FC Kaiserslautern, playing in the UEFA Champions League with the latter. Anel Ahmedhodžić (; born 26 March 1999) is a professional footballer who plays as a centre-back for Championship club Sheffield United. Born in Sweden, he played for the Bosnia and Herzegovina national team. Ahmedhodžić started his professional career at Nottingham Forest, before joining Malmö FF in 2019. Felix Olof Allan Nelson Beijmo (born 31 January 1998) is a Swedish professional footballer who plays as a defender for Danish Superliga club AGF. Club career Youth career Beijmo started out playing for Brommapojkarna at age seven, leaving his local club Ängby IF. Ola Toivonen
Nils Ola Toivonen (; (Värmländsk pronunciation: la Tôjvônen; born 3 July 1986) is a Swedish former professional footballer who played as an attacking midfielder and forward. After beginning his career in his home town team of Degerfors, he spent time in the top flight for Örgryte before he got signed by Malmö FF before the 2007 season. Guillermo Federico Molins Palmeiro (; born 26 September 1988) is a Swedish professional footballer. Beginning his career with Malmö FF in 2006, he has gone on to play professionally in Belgium, Spain, China, Greece, and Norway.
