2019–20 Slovenian Third League
The 2019–20 Slovenian Third League was the 28th edition of the Slovenian Third League. The season began on 24 August 2019 and was scheduled to end in June 2020. The competition was cancelled on 17 April 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Competition format and rules In the 2019–20 season, the Slovenian Third League was divided into two regional groups with a total of 26 participating clubs. The West group was composed of 14 clubs, and the East group of 12 clubs. The group winners earned direct promotion to the Slovenian Second League. 3. NK Šmartno 1928
Nogometni klub Šmartno 1928 (), commonly referred to as NK Šmartno or simply Šmartno, is a Slovenian football club based in Šmartno ob Paki that competes in the Slovenian Third League, the third tier of Slovenian football. The club emerged after the dissolution of NK Šmartno ob Paki, a team that played in the Slovenian top division for several seasons before being dissolved. Šmartno ob Paki () is a settlement in the lower Paka Valley in northern Slovenia. It is the seat of the Municipality of Šmartno ob Paki. The area is part of the traditional region of Styria. It is now included in the Savinja Statistical Region. Gornja Radgona
Gornja Radgona (; , ) is a town in Slovenia. It is the seat of the Municipality of Gornja Radgona. Once it was a defensive stronghold for today's regional centre and its twin city, Bad Radkersburg, on the other side of the Mura River in Austria. The towns were split in 1919, when the state of Styria was divided between Austria and Slovenia. They afterward developed separately, and Gornja Radgona grew into a new town centre. Odranci
Odranci (; ) is a settlement in the Prekmurje region of Slovenia. It is the seat of the Municipality of Odranci and also the only settlement in the municipality. Odranci is the largest settlement of the Dolinsko region, which lies between the Mura and Ledava rivers. Črnec Creek, a tributary of the Ledava, flows through the settlement. Name Odranci was attested in written sources in 1322 and 1428 as ''Adrianch'' (and as ''Adryanch'' in 1389). The name may be derived from ''*Odьr′anьci'', based on the forgotten hydronym ''*Odьra''; if so, the name literally means 'people living along the Odra River'. Ljutomer
Ljutomer (; ) is a town in northeastern Slovenia, east of Maribor. It is the seat of the Municipality of Ljutomer. Traditionally it was part of the region of Styria. It is now included in the Mura Statistical Region. The economy of Ljutomer is largely based on grape farming and wine making. Name Ljutomer was attested in written records in 1211 as ''Lvtenwerde'' (and as ''Lůtenwerde'' in 1242, ''Lvtenberch'' in 1249, ''Lutenberg'' in 1269, ''Luetemberg'' in 1380, and ''Lutemberg'' in 1440). The names with ''-berg'' referred to the town itself, and those with ''-werd'' to the wider area. Prevalje
Prevalje (; German language, German: ''Prävali'') is a town in northern Slovenia. It is the seat of the Municipality of Prevalje. It lies in the traditional Slovenian province of Carinthia, Slovenia, Carinthia. Prevalje lies in a valley where the Meža, Meža River emerges from a narrow gorge, full of fluvioglacial sediments.
