2019–20 Portland Trail Blazers Season
The 2019–20 Portland Trail Blazers season was the franchise's 50th season in the National Basketball Association (NBA). The Trail Blazers entered the season following a playoff defeat from the Golden State Warriors in the Western Conference finals. The season was suspended by the league officials following the games of March 11 after it was reported that Rudy Gobert tested positive for COVID-19. On June 4, the Trail Blazers were one of 22 teams invited to the NBA Bubble. On August 15, the Trail Blazers clinched the 8th seed after defeating the Memphis Grizzlies in a play-in game. With the Blazers clinching a playoff berth, this was the 3rd consecutive season where 4 of 5 teams in the Northwest Division clinched the playoffs. Terry Stotts
Terry Linn Stotts (born November 25, 1957) is an American former professional basketball player and coach who is the top assistant coach for the Golden State Warriors of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He previously served as head coach of the Portland Trail Blazers of the NBA from 2012 to 2021 before most recently spending an offseason as an assistant coach for the Milwaukee Bucks of the NBA in 2023. After a playing as a Forward (basketball), forward in Europe and the Continental Basketball Association (CBA), where he was coached by George Karl, Stotts became a part of Karl's coaching staff on multiple teams in the CBA and NBA. 2018–19 Houston Rockets Season
The 2018–19 Houston Rockets season was the 52nd season of the franchise in the National Basketball Association (NBA), and their 48th in the Houston area. Despite early struggles in the season including an on-court altercation between rival guards Chris Paul and Rajon Rondo, injuries among its players, and losing core players including Trevor Ariza, the team made a dramatic improvement and finished as the 4th seed in the West. Most notable within the surge was Harden's impressive play. It included his 30-point streak which started on December 13, all the way to a surprising 32 games until ending on February 25. Christian James McCollum (born September 19, 1991) is an American professional basketball player for the New Orleans Pelicans of the National Basketball Association (NBA). Skal Labissière (; born March 18, 1996) is a Haitian professional basketball player for the Sacramento Kings of the NBA. He graduated from Lausanne Collegiate School in Memphis, Tennessee, before playing one season of college basketball for the Kentucky Wildcats. Mario Hezonja (; born 25 February 1995) is a Croatian professional basketball player for Real Madrid of the Spanish Liga ACB and the EuroLeague. James Timothy Moran (born December 3, 1978) is an American-Irish former professional basketball player and current coach who is the associate head coach of the Florida State Seminoles of the Atlantic Coast Conference. John P. McCullough (born October 5, 1956) is a retired National Basketball Association (NBA) basketball player. McCullough was a Big Eight Player of the Year and NCAA All-American for the University of Oklahoma. McCullough was drafted in the fourth round of the 1979 NBA draft by the Kansas City Kings.
