2019–20 National T20 Cup
The 2019–20 National T20 Cup was a Twenty20 domestic cricket competition that was played in Faisalabad, Punjab, Pakistan from 13 to 24 October 2019. Lahore Whites were the defending champions. It was the sixteenth season of the National T20 Cup in Pakistan, and took place during a break in Pakistan's domestic first-class tournament, the 2019–20 Quaid-e-Azam Trophy. The same six teams playing in the Quaid-e-Azam Trophy played in the T20 Cup, with the top four progressing to the semi-finals. Following the conclusion of the round-robin stage, Northern, Balochistan, Southern Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa finished in the top four places in the group. Northern were drawn against Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in the first semi-final, while Balochistan drawn against Southern Punjab in the second semi-final. Southern Punjab Cricket Team (Pakistan)
Southern Punjab cricket team was a domestic cricket team in Pakistan representing the southern parts of the Punjab, Pakistan, Punjab province. It competed in domestic First Class Cricket, first-class, List A Cricket, List A and T20 Cricket, T20 cricket competitions, namely the Quaid-e-Azam Trophy, Pakistan Cup and National T20 Cup. Akif Javed (born 10 October 2000) is a Pakistani cricketer. Early life Akif was born in Karak in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, where due to the lack of facilities he had to play tennis ball cricket in the streets. As his family wasn't well-off he had to help his late father run the shop. Ghaffar Kazmi (born 25 December 1962) is a Pakistani former cricketer and a current umpire. He played 150 first-class matches in a career spanning 20 years. Syed Aaley Haider, born at Karachi, Pakistan, on 4 December 1973, was a cricketer who played first-class cricket in Pakistan for several teams, and also played for and captained the Pakistan Under-19 cricket team in two under-19 Test matches in 1991-92.
