2019–20 Hong Kong Third Division League
The 2019–20 Hong Kong Third Division League was the 6th season of Hong Kong Third Division since it became the fourth-tier football league in Hong Kong in 2014–15. The season began on 8 September 2019 and ended on 16 April 2020 when the Hong Kong Football Association announced the cancellation of all lower division seasons due to the 2020 coronavirus pandemic in Hong Kong. Hong Kong Third Division League
Hong Kong Third Division League is the fourth-highest division overall in the Hong Kong football league system under the organization of Hong Kong Football Association. Starting with the 2012-13 Hong Kong Third Division League, 2012–13 season, the two divisions of the Hong Kong Third Division League were merged into one. Teams of the Third Division League in the 2012–13 team were the 2 final round losing team and the 3rd to 10th placed teams of Hong Kong Third A Division League, along with the 3rd and 4th placed teams of Hong Kong Third District Division League. Ornament () is a Hong Kong football club which currently does not compete in the Hong Kong football league system. Formed in 1948 by HK Gold & Silver Ornament Workers and Merchants General Union, the club has competed as high as the second tier of Hong Kong football. History In the 1986–87 season, Ornament was the bottom team of Hong Kong Third B Division League. According to the rules, Ornament would have been disqualified for a year. However, Ornament requested a waiver of this requirement and the Hong Kong Football Association later accepted the request. Sai Kung Friends Football Club () is a Hong Kong football club which currently competes in the Hong Kong Third Division. History In 1997–98, they finished third in Hong Kong Second Division, but due to first and second HKFC and Jung Fuk gave up on promotion to Hong Kong First Division. Sai Kung Friends were promoted to Hong Kong First Division for the first time. Although having Brazilian striker, Tomy Adriano Giacomeli on the team, their overall strength was rather weak. Fukien Athletic Club () is a Hong Kong multi-sports club, best known for its football team. Its football club currently plays in the Hong Kong Third Division. History Fukien Athletic Club was founded in 1925.
