2019–20 FC Arsenal Tula Season
The 2019–20 FC Arsenal Tula season was the club's fourth season back in the Russian Premier League, the highest tier of association football in Russia, since relegation at the end of the 2014–15 season, and their fifth in total. Season events On 17 March, the Russian Premier League postponed all league fixtures until April 10th due to the COVID-19 pandemic. On 1 April, the Russian Football Union extended the suspension of football until 31 May. On 15 May, the Russian Football Union announced that the Russian Premier League season would resume on 21 June. On 17 June, FC Rostov announced that six of their players had tested positive for COVID-19. On 1 July 2020, Igor Cherevchenko resigned as manager, with Sergei Podpaly being appointed as the clubs caretaker manager. FC Arsenal Tula
FC Arsenal Tula () is a Russian professional football club from Tula playing in the second-tier Russian First League. Originally founded in 1923, FC Arsenal Tula was promoted to the Russian Premier League in 2014 for the first time in its history after finishing as runners-up in the 2013–14 Russian National Football League. This achievement marked three successive promotions for the club. On its debut season in the 2014–15 Russian Premier League, it finished in last place and was relegated back to the FNL. The club spent one season in the FNL before returning to the Premier League for the 2016–17 season, in which they have competed until the 2021–22 Russian Premier League season, when they were relegated again after finishing last. Sergei Anatolyevich Tkachyov (; born 19 May 1989) is a Russian professional association football, footballer who plays as a right midfielder or attacking midfielder for FC Arsenal Tula, Arsenal Tula. Club career On 11 January 2016, Tkachyov signed a four-year contract with PFC CSKA Moscow, CSKA Moscow. On 2 July 2018, Tkachyov returned to FC Arsenal Tula on a season-long loan deal. Tkachyov scored five goals in 25 Russian Premier League matches during the 2018–19 season. On 27 June 2019, he moved to Arsenal on a permanent basis, signing a 2-year contract. Evans Kangwa (born 9 October 1992) is a Zambian international association football, footballer who plays for Saudi First Division League club Abha Club, Abha as a Midfielder#Winger, left winger.
