2019–20 FC Ararat-Armenia Season
The 2019–20 season was a FC Ararat-Armenia's 2nd season in Armenian Premier League, of which they were defending champions. Ararat-Armenia finished the season as Armenian Premier League Champions for the second year in a row and were Runners-up to FC Noah in the 2019–20 Armenian Cup, Armenian Cup. In Europe, AIK Fotboll, AIK knocked them out of the 2019–20 UEFA Champions League, UEFA Champions League in the first qualifying round, resulting in Ararat-Armenia dropping into the 2019–20 UEFA Europa League, UEFA Europa League, where they reached the playoff round before defeat to F91 Dudelange, Dudelange. Season events On 18 June, Ararat-Armenia were drawn against Allsvenskan Champions AIK Fotboll, AIK in the first qualifying round of the 2019–20 UEFA Champions League, UEFA Champions League. FC Ararat-Armenia
FC Ararat-Armenia () is an Armenian professional football club based in Yerevan, founded in 2017. History It was founded in 2017 as FC Avan Academy by Ruben Hayrapetyan, on the basis of the young players of the Yerevan Football Academy graduates, as well as many young players from FC Pyunik. They club's inaugural match took place in July 2017 against Erebuni SC. The friendly match ended up with a score of 3–1 in favour of Avan Academy. In early 2018, the club was taken over by the Russian-Armenian businessman Samvel Karapetyan who renamed the football club as Ararat-Moskva, from Mount Ararat. The club was reorganized as soon as FC Ararat Moscow in Russia was denied certificate for the next season. Artak Oseyan managed the club during the 2017–18 Armenian First League season. David Rudikovich Davidyan (; ; born 14 December 1997) is a professional footballer who plays for Rotor Volgograd. Born in Russia, he plays for the Armenia national team. He most often plays in the right winger position. Club career On 8 August 2021, Russian Premier League club FC Khimki announced the signing of Davidyan. Petros Avetisyan (; born 7 January 1996) is an Armenian professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Alashkert. Club career Banants Born in Yerevan, Avetisyan started his career at Malatia football school that later was renamed as FC Banants. Furdjel Robby Narsingh (born 13 March 1988) is a Dutch professional footballer who plays as a winger.
