2019–20 EHF Challenge Cup
The 2019–20 EHF Challenge Cup was the 23rd edition of the European Handball Federation's third-tier competition for men's Team handball, handball clubs, running from 5 October 2019 to 24 May 2020. On 24 April 2020 EHF announced that the competition would be cancelled due to COVID-19 pandemic. Overview Team allocation Round and draw dates All draws were held at the European Handball Federation headquarters in Vienna, Austria. On 25 March, the EHF announced that no matches will be played before June due to the COVID-19 pandemic in Europe, coronavirus pandemic. Round 2 Teams listed first played the first leg at home. The first legs were played on 5–6 October and the second legs were played on 12–13 October 2019. EHF Challenge Cup
The EHF European Cup is an annual men's handball club competition organised by the European Handball Federation (EHF). It is the third-tier competition of European club handball, after the EHF Champions League and the EHF European League. Founded in 1993 as the EHF City Cup, the competition was renamed the EHF Challenge Cup in 2000 before adopting its current name in 2020. History Before 2000, it was called EHF City Cup. Currently, the EHF coefficient rank decides which teams have access and in which stage they enter. Beykoz () is a municipality and district of Istanbul Province, Turkey. Its area is 310 km2, and its population is 247,875 (2022). It lies at the northern end of the Bosphorus on the Anatolian side.
