2019 Pakistan Super League
2019 Pakistan Super League (also known as PSL 4 or for sponsorship reasons HBL PSL 2019) was the fourth season of the Pakistan Super League, a franchise Twenty20 cricket league which was established by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) in 2015. The tournament took place from 14 February to 17 March 2019. In the championship game, Quetta Gladiators defeated Peshawar Zalmi by eight wickets in Karachi to win the title for the first time. Mohammad Hasnain of Quetta was named the Man of the Match of the Final. Shane Watson, also of Quetta, was awarded the Player of the Tournament award and the leading run scorer award with a total of 435 runs in the tournament. Hasan Ali of Peshawar was awarded the leading wicket taker award with a total of 25 wickets. Shadab Khan
Shadab Khan (; born 4 October 1998) is a Pakistani international cricketer who plays for the Pakistan national cricket team. He captains Islamabad United in the Pakistan Super League (PSL), and under his leadership they won the PSL 2024 for a record third time in the tournament's history. Mohammad Sami (; born 24 February 1981) is a Pakistani cricket coach and former cricketer who played for the Pakistan national cricket team between 2001 and 2016. Domestic career Sami joined the Indian Cricket League following the tour of India in December 2007. Multan Sultans is a Pakistani professional Twenty20 franchise cricket team representing Multan, a city in southern Punjab, in the Pakistan Super League (PSL). The team was founded in 2017 as an additional sixth team added to the PSL with contract payments of US$41.6 million for eight seasons or US$5.2 million per season. Since the team was introduced in the Third Season of Pakistan Super League, the team's contract is for eight seasons instead of ten. The team plays its home matches at Multan Cricket Stadium.
