2019 Monterrey Open
The 2019 Monterrey Open (also known as the 2019 Abierto GNP Seguros for sponsorship reasons) was a women's tennis tournament played on outdoor hard courts. It was the 11th edition of the Monterrey Open and an International tournament on the 2019 WTA Tour. It took place at the Club Sonoma in Monterrey, Mexico, from 1 to 7 April 2019. WTA International Tournaments
The WTA International Tournaments was a category for professional tennis tournaments of the Women's Tennis Association from the 2009 WTA Tour until 2020, which replaced the previous Tier III and Tier IV categories. The winner of a WTA International adds 280 points to her WTA ranking. Donna Vekić (; born 28 June 1996) is a Croatian professional tennis player and businesswoman. She has won three singles titles on the WTA Tour – at the 2014 Malaysian Open, at the 2017 Nottingham Open, and the 2021 Courmayeur Ladies Open. Katie Boulter (born 1 August 1996) is a British tennis player. Boulter, from Woodhouse Eaves, Leicestershire, has won six singles titles and four doubles titles on the ITF Women's Circuit. Harriet Dart (born 28 July 1996) is a British professional tennis player. Dart entered the WTA top 100 for the first time in March 2022 and achieved her career-high singles ranking of 84 on 25 July 2022. Gréta Arn (born 13 April 1979) is a Hungarian retired tennis player of Danube Swabian German descent. She has won two titles on the WTA Tour, the 2007 Estoril Open in Portugal, and the 2011 ASB Classic in Auckland, New Zealand, as well as four ITF titles in singles.
