The 2019 FIVB Volleyball Men's Club World Championship was the 15th edition of the event. It was held in Betim, Brazil from 3 to 8 December 2019. Cucine Lube Civitanova won their first title and Bruno Rezende was chosen to be MVP of the tournament. Betim
Betim is a town in Minas Gerais, Brazil. It is located at around . The city belongs to the mesoregion Metropolitan of Belo Horizonte (BH) and to the microregion of Belo Horizonte. It is the fifth largest city in Minas Gerais and one of the 50 largest cities in the Southeast of Brazil. Al Rayyan SC Volleyball Team
Al Rayyan Volleyball ( ar, الريان للكرة الطائرة) is a professional Volleyball team based in Al-Rayyan, Qatar. It competes in the Qatari Volleyball League. They participated in the 2012 edition of the FIVB Volleyball Men's Club World Championship held in Qatar after winning the Heir Apparent Cup. The club hired four top athletes to strengthen the team before the 2012 Club World Championships. These include Rodrigão from Brazil, the Bulgarian brothers Georgi and Valentin Bratoev, and the American David Lee, a Gold medalist in Beijing 2008. They did not advance past the group stage. The best achievement for the Al Rayyan volleyball team was in 2014 when they came in the second place in the World Club championship. The squad included Michael Sánchez, Raphael Vieira de Oliveira, Matey Kaziyski and Robertlandy Simón as foreign players in the team. Jiří Kovář
Jiří Kovář (born April 10, 1989) is an Italian volleyball player of Czech Republic, Czech origins, a member of Italy men's national volleyball team and Greek club Panathinaikos V.C., Panathinaikos. He was silver medalist of the 2013 Men's European Volleyball Championship, European Championship 2013, bronze medalist of the 2014 FIVB Volleyball World League, World League 2014, and triple Italian Champion (2012, 2014 and 2017). Career Clubs In 2014 won a title of Italian Champion after winning matches against Umbria Volley, Sir Safety Perugia. On October 15, 2014 Lube Banca Macerata, including Kovář, won their first trophy of the 2014/2015 season. The Macerata club beat Pallavolo Piacenza, Copra Elior Piacenza (3-2) and won Italian SuperCup2014. National team On July 20, 2014 Italy men's national volleyball team, Italy, including Kovář, claimed the bronze medal of the 2014 FIVB Volleyball World League, World League 2014, beating Iran 3-0.
