2019 Diriyah EPrix
The 2019 Diriyah ePrix (officially the 2019 ABB FIA Formula E Saudia Diriyah ePrix) was a pair Formula E electric car race held at the Riyadh Street Circuit in the town of Diriyah, north-west of Riyadh, in Saudi Arabia on 22 and 23 November 2019. It formed the first and second rounds of the 2019–20 Formula E season and was the second edition of the Diriyah ePrix. The first race was won by Sam Bird with Andre Lotterer and Stoffel Vandoorne completing the podium. Alexander Sims won the second race. Classification Race one Qualifying Notes: * – Nico Müller and James Calado were disqualified from the session after disrespecting Parc fermé regulations in order to allow repairs to their damaged cars. DS Techeetah (, ) was a Sino- French motor racing team under ownership of SECA - China Media Capital that competed in the electric racing series, Formula E. Formula E Team Aguri principal Aguri Suzuki announced he would leave the team in April 2016 as senior personnel entered "a period of consultation" over a future change in ownership. In the week before the 2016 London ePrix, the Chinese public equity and venture capital firm China Media Capital announced its purchase of Team Aguri and established a new entity named Techeetah in its place. Jérôme d'Ambrosio (; born 27 December 1985) is a Belgian former racing driver and motorsport executive, who competed in Formula One from to . Since October 2024, d'Ambrosio has served as deputy team principal of Scuderia Ferrari, Ferrari in Formula One, as well as the head of the Ferrari Driver Academy. Born and raised in Brussels, d'Ambrosio began competitive kart racing aged 13, winning the KF1, direct-drive Karting World Cup three years later. Oliver Rowland
Oliver Eric Rowland (; born 10 August 1992) is a British racing driver, who competes in Formula E for Nissan Formula E Team, Nissan. Rowland has previously competed for Manor Motorsport in the 2018–19 FIA World Endurance Championship, 2018 WEC season, and he was also previously the young driver of Williams Grand Prix Engineering, Williams F1 Team during the 2018 Formula 1 season. Mitchell William Evans (born 24 June 1994) is a New Zealand professional racing driver. He currently (since 2016) drives for the Jaguar Racing, Jaguar TCS Racing team in Formula E. Robin Christiaan Maria Frijns (born 7 August 1991) is a Dutch racing driver. The Diriyah ePrix was a race of the single-seater, electrically powered Formula E championship, held in Diriyah, Saudi Arabia. It was first held as part of the 2018–19 season and was the first Formula E race to be held in the Middle East. The second Diriyah ePrix was held on 22 and 23 November 2019. The final Diriyah ePrix was held on 26 and 27 January 2024. The final race was won by Nick Cassidy for Jaguar.
