2019 CFL European Draft
The 2019 CFL European draft took place on April 11, 2019. Nine players were chosen from a pool of 18 European players who attended the 2019 CFL Combine. Background In October 2018, Canadian Football League (CFL) commissioner Randy Ambrosie outlined a plan to grow the CFL's presence, which he dubbed CFL 2.0, including growth internationally. As part of this expansion the CFL held a special draft in January 2019 with the Liga de Fútbol Americano Profesional (LFA), the top-level pro American football league in Mexico. Players selected there were not signed to teams but rather had their rights held by their selecting teams. Canadian Football

Edmonton Eskimos
The Edmonton Elks are a professional Canadian football team based in Edmonton, Alberta. The club competes in the Canadian Football League (CFL) as a member of the league's West Division and plays their home games at Commonwealth Stadium. Asnnel Robo (born November 4, 1993) is a professional gridiron football fullback for the Stuttgart Surge of the European League of Football. Early life Robo was born in Cayenne, French Guiana and later moved to France. The Potsdam Royals are an American football team from Potsdam, Germany. The club's greatest achievements are winning the (2023 & 2024) German Bowl championship, and the last Eurobowl (2019) against the Amsterdam Crusaders. Thiadric Hansen (born December 26, 1992) is a German professional Canadian football linebacker for the Toronto Argonauts of the Canadian Football League (CFL). He is a three-time Grey Cup champion after winning with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers in 2019 and 2021 and with the Argonauts in 2024. The Winnipeg Blue Bombers are a professional Canadian football team based in Winnipeg, Manitoba. The Berlin Rebels are an American football team from Berlin, Germany. The team is playing in the German Football League, the highest level of American football in Germany. In the most recent seasons the Rebels managed to qualify for the play-offs. The McGill Redbirds football team represents McGill University in Canadian football in U Sports and is based in Montreal, Quebec. The program is one of the oldest in all of Canada, having begun organized competition in 1874 McGill Redmen football team, 1874.
