2019 All-Ireland Under-20 Hurling Championship
The 2019 All-Ireland Under-20 Hurling Championship was the inaugural staging of the All-Ireland Under-20 Championship and the 56th staging overall of a hurling championship for players between the minor and senior grades. Prior to 2019 an All-Ireland Under-21 Championship was held. The championship began on 25 May 2019 and ended on 24 August 2019. Tipperary were the defending champions and went on to retain the title. On 24 August 2019, Tipperary won the championship following a 5-17 to 1-18 defeat of Cork in the All-Ireland final. This was their 11th All-Ireland title overall and their second title in succession. Craig Morgan (hurler)
Craig Morgan is an Irish hurler who plays for Tipperary Senior Championship club Kilruane MacDonagh's and at inter-county level with the Tipperary county hurling team. Career Morgan made his senior debut for Tipperary on 25 January 2020 when he came on as a substitute in the opening round of the 2020 National Hurling League against Limerick in a 0-18 to 2-14 defeat. He made his championship debut on 17 April 2022, starting against Waterford in the opening round of the 2022 Munster Hurling Championship. On 20 July in the 2025 All-Ireland final, Morgan started in the half-back line as Tipperary defeated Cork by 3-27 to 1-19 and claim a 29th All-Ireland title. The 2014 All-Ireland Under-21 Hurling Championship was the 51st staging of the All-Ireland hurling championship for players under the age of twenty-one since its establishment by the Gaelic Athletic Association in 1964. The championship began on 7 June 2000 and ended on 17 September 2000. Kilkenny were the defending champions but were defeated by Offaly in the Leinster final. 2008 All-Ireland Under-21 Hurling Championship
The 2008 All-Ireland Under-21 Hurling Championship was the 45th staging of the All-Ireland Under-21 Championship since its esablishment by the Gaelic Athletic Association in 1964. The championship ran from 28 May to 14 September 2008. Galway entered the championship as the defending champions, however, they were beaten by Kilkenny in the All-Ireland semi-final. The All-Ireland final was played on 14 September 2008 at Croke Park in Dublin between Kilkenny and Tipperary in what was their ninth meeting in the final overall and a first meeting in the final in two years. Kilkenny won the match by 2-13 to 0-15 to claim their 11th championship title overall and a first title in two years. This win completed a Grand Slam of hurling titles for Kilkenny in 2008.
