2018–19 Serbian League East
The 2018–19 Serbian League East was the 16th season of one of the four third level leagues in Serbian football. The league consists of 18 teams. A higher level of competition is the First League, while the lower three Zone Leagues are West, East and South. FK Radnički Pirot
FK Radnički Pirot () is a football club based in Pirot, Serbia. They compete in the Serbian League East, the third tier of the national league system. History The club was founded immediately after World War II in 1945. They made their Yugoslav Second League debut in the 1969–70 campaign. Over the next 12 seasons, the club competed in the second tier of Yugoslav football, before being relegated in 1981. They were promoted back the following year and played another six seasons in the Second League (1982– 1988), before the competition was reorganized. In the 1975–76 Yugoslav Cup, the club made one of the greatest accomplishments in its history by eliminating Red Star Belgrade to reach the quarter-finals, eventually losing to Dinamo Zagreb. Following the dissolution of SFR Yugoslavia, the club competed in the newly formed Second League of FR Yugoslavia in the 1992–93 season, but failed to avoid relegation. Gadžin Han
Gadžin Han ( sr-cyr, Гаџин Хан) is a village and municipality located in the Nišava District of the southern Serbia. According to 2022 census, the municipality has 5,850 inhabitants, from which 1,194 live in Gadžin Han itself. Trstenik, Serbia
Trstenik ( sr-cyr, Трстеник, ) is a town and municipality located in the Rasina District of central Serbia. As of 2022 census, the town has 13,476, while the municipality has 35,875 inhabitants. It lies on the West Morava river. History In the Early and Middle Iron Age, the tribe of Triballi inhabited the West Morava. Romans conquered the area in the 1st century AD. Roman sites include the Stražbe ''castrum'' on the right bank of the river, as well as sites in Bučje, Trstenik, Bučje and Donji Dubić, and others still unexplored. The Romans introduced the ''Vitis vinifera'' (Common Grape Vine) to the region, which still today is processed in Serbian wineyards (It is one of the main incomes in the municipality). In the Middle Ages, Trstenik belonged to the West Morava ''oblast'' (province). Varvarin
Varvarin ( sr-cyr, Варварин, ) is a town and municipality located in the Rasina District of central Serbia. Population of the town is 1,805, and population of the municipality is 14,217 (2022 census). History The town is notable as the site of an 1810 battle during the Russo-Turkish War (1806–1812), Russo-Turkish War (1806-1812) between the Ottoman Empire and a combined Russian and Serbian army. A statue to the Russian commander Joseph Cornelius O'Rourke and his men was erected in 1910 on the centenary of their victory in the battle, which freed the city from Turkish domination. From 1929 to 1941, Varvarin was part of the Morava Banovina of the Kingdom of Yugoslavia.
