The 2018–19 Mizoram Premier League is the seventh season of the Mizoram Premier League, the top division football league in the Indian state of Mizoram. The league kicked off from 6 September 2018 with eight teams competing. Aizawl F.C., Aizawl FC won its 3rd title. Mizoram Premier League
The Mizoram Premier League (also known as LZ JUICE Mizoram Premier League for sponsorship reasons) is the highest State football leagues in India, state-level Association football, football league in Mizoram, India. On a national scale, it is the 5th tier of Indian football league system. The competition is conducted by the Mizoram Football Association, the official football body of Mizoram, with Tetea Hmar as its secretary and key promoter. The league started on 24 October 2012 for the first time. League structure Mizoram Premier League has eight clubs. The four top clubs qualify for the MPL automatically While the other 4 teams will be decided via a playoff . Lalkhawpuimawia (born 22 January 1992), commonly known by his nickname Mapuia, is an Indian professional footballer who plays as a forward. Career Prior to 2017 Lalkhawpuimawia was playing football in the Mizoram semi-professional lower leagues with Chhinga Veng FC. He signed with Aizawl in January 2018. Biaktea Lalbiakhlua (born 11 August 1988) is an Indian professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Aizawl in the I-League on loan from Mizoram Police. Alfred Kemah Jaryan (born 24 September 1988) is a Liberian professional footballer who plays as a midfielder. Club career Mohammedan In 2010, Alfred moved to India and signed with Mohammedan Sporting and appeared in the I-League. Jacob Lalrawngbawla (born 8 June 1995) is an Indian football player playing for Shillong Lajong in the I-League in India as a midfielder. Laldinliana Renthlei (born 26 August 1998) is an Indian professional footballer who plays as a right-back for Indian Super League club Chennaiyin. Career Born in Mizoram, Renthlei began his career in the Mizoram Premier League with Chhinga Veng. Renthlei had also represented Mizoram in the Santosh Trophy in 2017. Ghanefo Ansumana Agogo Kromah (born 24 December 1993), known simply as Ansumana Kromah, is a Liberian professional footballer who plays as a forward. Lammual Stadium is a football stadium located in Aizawl, Mizoram, India. It is used mainly for football matches. It was one of the venues for the Northeast Games 2012.
