The 2018–19 EuroLeague Women was the 61st edition of the European women's club basketball championship organized by FIBA, and the 23rd edition since being rebranded as the EuroLeague Women. Team allocation A total of 20 teams from 11 countries participated in the 2018–19 EuroLeague Women. Teams League positions of the previous season shown in parentheses (TH: EuroLeague Women title holders): Round and draw dates Schedule Draw The draw was held on 5 July 2018 at the FIBA headquarters in Munich, Germany. The 16 teams were drawn into two groups of eight. For the draw, the teams were seeded into eight seeds. Qualifying round Regular season The regular season started on 24 October 2018 and ended on 20 February 2019. The four top teams of each group qualified for the quarterfinals. The Olympiacos women's basketball team is the women's basketball department of the major Greece, Greek sports club, multi-sport club Olympiacos CFP, based in Piraeus. TTT Riga
TTT Rīga is a professional women's basketball club based in Riga, Latvia. "TTT" means Tram and Trolley Trust. The team held its first official game on 5 November 1958. The next 25 years are known as the ''First Golden age'' of the club. Internationally, the club was also known as Daugava Riga, because Daugava was the predecessor of TTT Riga in the 1950s. Atomerőmű KSC Szekszárd, is a Hungarian women's basketball team, that is based in Szekszárd (Hungary), as that competes in the top flight of the Hungarian women's basketball leagues. Pallacanestro Femminile Schio, also known as Beretta Famila Schio for sponsorship reasons, is an Italian professional women's basketball team based in Schio that competes in Serie A1 (women's basketball), Serie A. Team history Founded in 1973, Schio enjoyed its first successes between 1996 and 2002, winning two national cups and the two last editions of the Ronchetti Cup in 2001 and 2002. In 2005 the team won its first national championship, which they successfully defended the following year, to attain its first double.
