The 2018–19 season was the 120th in the history of Eintracht Frankfurt, a football club based in Frankfurt, Germany. It was their 7th consecutive season and 50th overall in the top flight of German football, the Bundesliga, having been promoted from the 2. Bundesliga in 2012. In addition to the domestic league, Eintracht Frankfurt also were participating in that season's edition of the domestic cup, the DFB-Pokal. The DFB-Pokal (), also known as the German Cup in English language, English, is a German knockout Association football, football cup competition held annually by the German Football Association (DFB). Sixty-four teams participate in the competition, including all clubs from the Bundesliga and the 2. Bundesliga along with the four best teams from the 3. Liga. Mijat Gaćinović (, ; born 8 February 1995) is a Serbian professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Greek Super League club AEK Athens and the Serbia national team. Club career Vojvodina Gaćinović was born in Novi Sad while his father Vladimir played for FK Bečej. Luka Jović ( sr-Cyrl, Лука Јовић; born 23 December 1997) is a Serbian professional footballer who plays as a striker for the Serbia national team. Early life Jović was born in Loznica, FR Yugoslavia.
