2018–19 Bristol City F.C. Season
The 2018–19 season was Bristol City's 121st season as a professional football club and their fourth consecutive season back in the Championship. Along with competing in the Championship, the club will also participated in the FA Cup and EFL Cup. The season was a largely successful one for the club, with City finishing in 8th place, just four points outside the playoff positions and the club's highest finish in the Championship since a 4th place finish in the 2007–08 season. Francis David Fielding (born 4 April 1988) is an English professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for club Stoke City. He began his career at Blackburn Rovers in the Premier League. He spent time on loan at Wycombe Wanderers, Northampton Town, Rochdale, Leeds United, and Derby County, before making a permanent move to Derby County. Hakeeb Adeola Abiola Ayinde Adelakun (born 11 June 1996) is an English professional footballer who plays for club Salford City. Club career Scunthorpe United Adelakun played youth football with Crystal Palace and West Ham United, before joining Scunthorpe United. He made his professional debut as a 72nd-minute substitute for Adda Djeziri on 29 December 2012 in a 1–0 defeat against Tranmere Rovers at Prenton Park. He became the club's youngest player at the age of 16 years and 201 days. Marley Joseph Watkins (born 17 October 1990) is a professional footballer who plays as a winger for club Kilmarnock. He has attained two caps for the Wales national team. Andreas Weimann (; born 5 August 1991) is an Austrian professional footballer who plays as a forward or attacking midfielder for club Blackburn Rovers and the Austria national team. Liam Walsh (born 15 September 1997) is an English footballer who plays as a midfielder for club Luton Town. He started his career at Everton, and also spent time on loan at Yeovil Town, for whom he made his Football League debut, and at Birmingham City and Coventry City.
