2018–19 Blackpool F.C. Season
The 2018–19 season was Blackpool F.C.'s 110th season in the Football League, and their second consecutive season in the third tier of the Football League. They finished the season in tenth place. Along with competing in League One, the club also participated in the FA Cup (eliminated in the third round), League Cup (eliminated in the fourth round) and Football League Trophy (eliminated at the group stage). The season covered the period from 1 July 2018 to 30 June 2019. Gary Bowyer, manager of the club since 2016, resigned on 6 August. He was succeeded by Terry McPhillips on 10 September. Blackpool's top scorer in all competitions was Armand Gnanduillet. Blackpool F
Blackpool is a seaside town in Lancashire, England. It is located on the Irish Sea coast of the Fylde peninsula, approximately north of Liverpool and west of Preston, Lancashire, Preston. It is the main settlement in the Borough of Blackpool, borough of the same name. Benjamin John Heneghan (born 19 September 1993) is an English professional footballer who plays as a centre-back for club Port Vale. He has been capped by the England C team. Heneghan spent his youth with Everton and Stoke City, though did not play a first-team game at either club. Nicholas Jack Wilmer Anderton (born 22 April 1996) is an English coach and former professional footballer who played as a left back. Career Born in Preston, Anderton began his career at Preston North End, moving on loan to Chorley in March 2014 alongside Alex Nicholson. He turned professional in May 2014, at the same time as Jack Ryan. He joined Gateshead on loan in October 2014, and Barrow in December 2014, although the latter loan ended early due to injury.
