2018–19 Arizona State Sun Devils Men's Basketball Team
The 2018–19 Arizona State Sun Devils men's basketball team represented Arizona State University during the 2018–19 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Sun Devils, led by fourth-year head coach Bobby Hurley, played their home games at Wells Fargo Arena (Tempe), Wells Fargo Arena in Tempe, Arizona as members of Pac-12 Conference men's basketball, Pac–12 Conference. They finished the season 23–11, 12–6 in Pac-12 play to finish for second place. In the 2019 Pac-12 Conference men's basketball tournament, Pac-12 tournament, the Sun Devils defeated UCLA in the quarterfinals and lost to Oregon in the semifinals. They received an at-large bid to the 2019 NCAA Division I men's basketball tournament, NCAA tournament where they defeated St. John's in the First Four, and eventually lost in the First round to Buffalo. Bobby Hurley
Robert Hurley (born June 28, 1971) is an American college basketball coach and former professional player who is the head coach of the Arizona State Sun Devils. He was previously the head coach at the University at Buffalo. As a college senior, he was a unanimous first-team All-America for the Duke Blue Devils, with whom he won consecutive national championships. He is the all-time leader in assists in NCAA basketball. He played in the National Basketball Association (NBA) for the Sacramento Kings and Vancouver Grizzlies from 1993 to 1999. Chatsworth is a suburban neighborhood in Los Angeles, California, in the San Fernando Valley. The area around the town was home to Native Americans, who left caves containing rock art. Athlete Institute
The Athlete Institute is an athletic centre located in Mono, Ontario. It is made up of three facilities, the training centre, residence and the fieldhouse. The Institute is home to The Orangeville Prep Basketball Academy, who compete in the Ontario Scholastic Basketball Association (OSBA). Orangeville District Secondary School provides academic instruction for the institute's students. Luguentz Dort (born April 19, 1999; or ) is a Canadian professional basketball player for the Oklahoma City Thunder of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He played college basketball for the Arizona State Sun Devils. Dort joined the Thunder as an undrafted free agent in July 2019 and is the longest tenured player on the team. Highly regarded for his defense, Dort was named to the NBA All-Defensive First Team in 2025, later winning the NBA Finals that same year. Elias Valtonen
Elias Veikko Juhani Valtonen (born June 11, 1999) is a Finnish professional basketball player for Covirán Granada of the Liga ACB, and for the Finland national team. He played college basketball for the Arizona State Sun Devils. Valtonen is tall, and plays the shooting guard position.
