2018 UCI World Tour
The 2018 UCI World Tour was a competition that included thirty-seven road bicycle racing, road cycling events throughout the 2018 in men's road cycling, 2018 men's cycling season. It was the tenth and final edition of the ranking system launched by the Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI) in 2009. The competition began with the opening stage of the 2018 Tour Down Under, Tour Down Under on 16 January and concluded with the final stage of the 2018 Tour of Guangxi, Tour of Guangxi on 21 October. Belgium's Greg Van Avermaet was the defending champion. André Greipel (born 16 July 1982) is a German cyclist, who rode professionally in road bicycle racing between 2005 and 2021. Since his retirement from road racing, Greipel has worked as a directeur sportif for UCI Continental teams and , and in 2023, he became the national road coach for the German Cycling Federation. Jean-Pierre "Jempy" Drucker (born 3 September 1986) is a retired Luxembourgish professional racing cyclist. Career Fidea (2004–2008) Born in Sandweiler, Drucker signed with in 2004, a team specializing in cyclo-cross, at age 18. He rode with this team for five seasons, winning two elite national cyclo-cross championships.
