The 2018 Pro14 Grand Final was the final match of the 2017–18 Pro14 season. The 2017–18 season is the fourth with Guinness as the title sponsor, the ninth with a Grand Final and the first season with 14 teams, following the admission of two South African teams. The final was played at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin and saw Leinster defeat the Scarlets 40–32. The 2017–18 PRO14 (also known as the ''Guinness PRO14'' for sponsorship reasons) was the seventeenth season of the professional rugby union competition originally known as the Pro14, Celtic League. It is the first season to be referred to as the ''Guinness Brewery, Guinness PRO14 Championship'', with the addition of two South African teams. Johnny McNicholl
Johnny McNicholl (born 24 September 1990) is a New Zealand born rugby union player who previously played as a Winger or fullback for the Scarlets regional side in the Pro14 league and the Wales national team. Tadhg Vincent Furlong (born 14 November 1992) is an Irish professional rugby union player who plays tighthead prop for United Rugby Championship club Leinster and the Ireland national team.
