2018 Monza Formula 2 Round
The 2018 Monza FIA Formula 2 round was a pair of motor races held on 1 and 2 September 2018 at the Autodromo Nazionale Monza in Monza, Italy as part of the FIA Formula 2 Championship. It was the tenth round of the 2018 FIA Formula 2 Championship and was run in support of the 2018 Italian Grand Prix. Autodromo Nazionale Monza
The Monza Circuit ( it, Autodromo Nazionale di Monza, , National Automobile Racetrack of Monza) is a race track near the city of Monza, north of Milan, in Italy. Built in 1922, it was the world's third purpose-built motor racing circuit after Brooklands and Indianapolis and the oldest in mainland Europe. The circuit's biggest event is the Italian Grand Prix. With the exception of the 1980 running, the race has been hosted there since 1949. Built in the Royal Villa of Monza park in a woodland setting, the site has three tracks – the Grand Prix track, the Junior track, and a high speed oval track with steep bankings which was left unused for decades and had been decaying until it was restored in the 2010s. Charouz Racing System (CHRS, also was known as Lotus in World Series Formula V8 3.5) is a racing team from Czech Republic, created in 1985 by . History In the 1980s, Charouz participated in the European Championship of Circuit Races' 1600 cc division in a Toyota Corolla. Alessio Lorandi (born 8 September 1998) is an Italian racing driver. Career Karting Lorandi began his racing career in karting in 2007. Lorandi won the Karting Federation Junior championship in 2013. He remained in karting until 2014. Formula 3 In 2015, Lorandi debuted in open-wheel racing, in European Formula 3 Championship with Van Amersfoort Racing. Roy Nissany ( he, רוי ניסני; born 30 November 1994) is an Israeli racing driver who is set to compete in the Formula 2 Championship with PHM Racing by Charouz. Campos Racing is a Spanish motor racing team, founded by former Formula One driver Adrián Campos. The team has been successful in Formula Three and the GP2 Series. History After retiring from racing, Campos formed his own team at the end of 1997, under the name Campos Motorsport.
