James Cerretani and Philipp Oswald were the defending champions, but Cerretani chose to compete in 2018 Diema Xtra Sofia Open – Doubles, Sofia instead. Oswald played alongside Treat Huey, but lost in the first round to Alessandro Motti and Stefano Travaglia. Nicolás Jarry Fillol (; born 10 October 1995) is a Chilean professional tennis player. He achieved his highest Association of Tennis Professionals, ATP singles ranking of world 16 in May 2024 and is the current No. 3 player from Chile. His highest doubles ranking of No. 40 was achieved in March 2019. He has won three ATP Tour titles in singles, at 2019 Swedish Open – Men's singles, Båstad 2019, 2023 Chile Open – Singles, Santiago 2023 and 2023 Geneva Open – Singles, Geneva 2023, and also reached a ATP Masters 1000 tournaments, Masters 1000 final at the 2024 Italian Open – Men's singles, 2024 Italian Open. He has also won two ATP doubles titles. Personal life Jarry is the grandson of Jaime Fillol, a former ATP player who won seven titles, and the great-nephew of Álvaro Fillol.
