2017–18 VMI Keydets Basketball Team
The 2017–18 VMI Keydets basketball team represented the Virginia Military Institute in the 2017–18 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Keydets were led by third-year head coach Dan Earl and played their home games out of Cameron Hall in Lexington, Virginia, their home since 1981, as members of the Southern Conference. They finished the season 9–21, 4–14 in SoCon play to finish in ninth place. They lost in the first round of the SoCon tournament to The Citadel. Previous season The Keydets finished the 2016–17 season with an overall record of 6–24, and a 3–15 mark in SoCon play to finish in last place. They lost in the first round of the SoCon tournament to Samford. They lost their three leading scorers and rebounders in QJ Peterson, Julian Eleby, and Trey Chapman. Maret School is a coeducational, non-sectarian, K–12 independent school in Washington, D.C. It was founded by Marthe Maret in 1911 as a French primary school for girls and boys. History In the late 1800s and early 1900s, three French sisters, Mlles. Marthe, Louise, and Jeanne Maret, left their home in the village of Marignan (Sciez) in France close by Geneva, Switzerland, to teach. Maryville Saints
The Maryville Saints are the athletic teams that represent Maryville University of St. Louis, located in Town and Country, Missouri, in NCAA Division II intercollegiate sports. The Saints compete as members of the West Division of the Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) for 23 of their 24 varsity sports. The only current exception is men's volleyball, in which it competes as a de facto Division I independent. Men's volleyball will move to the GLVC when the conference begins sponsoring that sport in the 2026 season (2025–26 school year).
