Late Night Television
Late-night television is one of the dayparts in television broadcast programming. It follows prime time and precedes the overnight television show graveyard slot. The slot generally runs from about 11:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m., with variations according to the time zone and broadcaster. In the United States and Canada, the term is synonymous with the late-night talk show, a type of television comedy talk show and variety show. Thus, the late-night programming block is considered more important in North America. On most major-network stations, a late-night news bulletin airs at the beginning of the block. Last Call With Carson Daly
''Last Call with Carson Daly'' is an American late-night television series that was broadcast by NBC from 2002 to 2019. Hosted by former MTV personality Carson Daly, the series was initially formatted as a late-night talk show in line with ''The Tonight Show'' and '' Late Night''. In 2009, ''Last Call'' abandoned its studio-based format, and was retooled as an entertainment program featuring interviews and performances (such as music and stand-up comedy) filmed on-location with Daly. Unlike other programs in NBC's late night lineup, ''Last Call'' typically recorded only 24 weeks of original shows a year, with the rest of the year being taken up by reruns. 16-17 is a band from Basel, Switzerland. Their music combines punk rock, hardcore punk, jazz and industrial music. Biography 16-17 was founded in 1983 by Alex Buess, Knut Remond and Markus Kneubühler. When the group played its first concerts in 1983 it was received with controversial reactions: there were hardly any groups that played in an approximately similar style. Only some years later around 1986 groups like Painkiller, Last Exit or The Flying Luttenbachers appeared . They played a similar mix of rough noise, heavily amplified instruments and free jazz inspired improvisation. 1983 to 1994 the group did a lot of tours and played many gigs all over Europe, Japan and USA. ''Gordon Ramsay's 24 Hours to Hell and Back'' is an American reality television series that aired on Fox from June 13, 2018 to May 12, 2020. Starring chef Gordon Ramsay, the show features his travels across the United States, visiting failing restaurants in his 70-foot-long "Hell On Wheels" semi-truck that unfolds into a high-tech mobile kitchen, where the chefs are retrained. ''Love Connection'' is an American television dating game show. Contestants selected one of three potential dates from a series of videotaped profiles, with a studio audience voting on which of the three partners they found most suitable. Originally hosted by Chuck Woolery, the show debuted in syndication on September 19, 1983, and ended on July 1, 1994, after 2,120 shows. Reruns continued to air until September 8, 1995.
